I've never been one to brag, but here it goes: I know what I'm doing and love doing it. I've been at this for a long time. It all started when I was a kid, and my grandmother gave me a 1940s Brownie camera. My passion was a hobby at first. Then I had formal graphic arts and photography training in high school and college. After that, I was a professional in the family portrait arena. My love for wildlife and most all things nature and animal related morphed my interest into what I do today-fine art photography.
I've made large investments in professional equipment, gear, and travel. I have a studio where I print, edit, and ship my smaller art. I use a gigantic 32-inch screen to zoom in and pixel-peep at every image, assuring only perfect post-processing in all of my work. I understand composition, complementary colors, color grading, lighting, aperture, depth of field, and exposure. I also understand business and customer service! I go the extra mile for all of my customers. Please see for yourself the reason why I continue to leave my customers incredibly pleased, referring me to their coworkers, friends, and family.
I've always invested in professional equipment; today, I currently shoot with a MEGAPIXEL MONSTER, the Sony A7R III, at 42.4-megapixel; there is no quality loss with enlargements. And as far as my lens collection, let's say it's an embarrassingly large collection. The Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Lens is my most used landscape lens. And for wildlife, my go-to lens is the gigantic Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS.
I process smaller and matted prints myself using professional equipment and materials. As with my professional print lab, I use archival-quality papers AND only PIGMENT-BASED INKS. It's the best, and that's the way I roll.
I partner with only the best in professional printing for my larger art. Again, we use only archival-quality papers, canvas, and PIGMENT-BASED INKS. My Barnwood frames are hand-crafted from reclaimed Barnwood. They're the epitome of natural, rustic, and western decor furnishings.
It's just me. You could say I am a bit of a control freak regarding quality and customer service. If you call, I'm the one who answers the phone. Email? You get me. Place an order? Again, I am the one who confirms your order and answers any questions you may have!
That's me too. Again, I like the control at my fingertips. I've been creating websites for a long time--since the late 90s. If you need custom website design services, redesign, or website maintenance, CONTACT ME for a quote! I am happy to help you with your online presence.
Most any kind of payment works for me. I used to take chickens, but the coyotes got them, so... today, you can pay with a credit card, check (order ships when the check clears), Paypal, Venmo, etc.
FAST PROCESSING! Most prints ship in one day! Large prints typically ship within two days, canvas orders typically ship within three days, and framed canvas usually within 4-5 days.
