Flint Hills Spring Prairie No. 1226

Flint Hills Spring Prairie Wall Art – Great Plains Artisan – Sunrise Konza Prairie – Kansas Flint Hills – Living Room Wall Decor – Country Home Decor – Photo Gifts

The Flint Hills, historically known as the Blue Stem Hills, is a region in eastern Kansas and north-central Oklahoma. Importantly, this area was named for the residual flint eroded from the bedrock. Moreover, the Flint Hills area is unique and holds the largest contiguous area of tallgrass prairie in the world. The peaceful, open tallgrass prairie landscape of the Flint Hills is my favorite place on earth (besides home with my family).
