Abstract and Minimalist

What is the difference between Abstract and Minimalism photography? They’re different, yet both styles can be simple, empty, and plain.

I adore both because of their simplicity. Look for these key differences:

Minimalism: a subject in its entirety – like a simple lake horizon at dawn

Abstract: not a representation of something real. It may be real but no longer recognizable as something that exists in reality.
