“The most important part of photography and backyard birding is the EQUIPMENT.” Just kidding!! But this is the impression that many photographers will give you. Although gear is necessary, the most expensive does not necessarily equate to the best photography.
At the very least, you need a camera, but there are also important considerations like the habitat you provide for wildlife. Below is the gear I highly recommend and use for my photography and backyard birding.
