I photographed this old-time prairie image in western Kansas. This historic wood barn is surrounded by natural prairie tallgrass, and a stormy sky is in the background. The colors of the image are neutral sepia and also available in black and white. The barn looks well-maintained and preserved, with a stately presence. There is a sense of drama in the image due to the stormy sky and the grandeur of the barn. Despite the stormy weather, there is a sense of tranquility and peace in the image, as if the barn has stood the test of time and will continue to do so. The overall effect is one of beauty and timelessness.
